Jump In Night!

Saturday night was Jump In Movie night at the Dayton YMCA Teen Center. It was a night of games, food, prizes, and of course the Jump In Movie. Apparently some kids had a problem carrying all the prizes out!

JCPenney Gift Cards!

Wednesday, January 10 was a big day for the elementary and middle school After-School kids. A total of 32 kids were awarded $50 gift cards to go towards school expenses. It was definitely one of the highlights of the year to watch the children shop for cloths that they normally couldn't buy. Thanks to JCPenney for the contribution!

Field Trip!

Friday was a day of awesome fun with a field trip to the Newport Aquarium. Here's a shot of sixteen of the thirty who attended.

$100 in JCPenny Gift Cards Donated

Local YLA members Sydney and Courtney stand beside the Christmas tree with a different kind of gift. Thanks to JCPenny, these girls both received $50 gift cards from the Dayton YMCA Teen Center. Congratulations girls! A benefit dance will be held today to assist their family in their unfortunate situation of loosing their house to a fire.

Pool Tables Recovered!

Nikita enjoys the new feeling of pool tables with all new cloth! This is a great improvement over the previous ones! YMCA employee, Dustin Clark will be holding tournaments in the coming months. In addition, a top ten list will be placed on the wall next to the pool tables with the winner each week receiving a prize.

New Grafitti Art Lockers!

Skylar and Lyndsey show off the new lockers that were graffiti painted by local artist Alex Bartenbeger. A great time was had by all the teens who participated and the Teen Center is blessed with an all new style!
